VIENNA - An Austrian woman says she was kept prisoner and abused by her own father for 24 years in a basement dungeon in eastern Austria, where she bore him six children, Austrian police said on Sunday.
The 42-year-old woman has been named by police as Elisabeth F. and told authorities she had been abused by her father, now 73, since the age of 11.
She told police her father Joseph lured her into the basement of their house in the town of Amstetten in 1984, and drugged and handcuffed her before locking her up.

"She had been abused continuously during the 24-year-long imprisonment," the statement said. "This led to six children."
The woman said Joseph provided her and three of her children, who were locked up with her, with clothing and food.
His wife Rosemarie had not been aware of what was going on.
The case came to light when the oldest child named as Kerstin F. fell severely ill and had to be taken to Amstetten hospital.
"A 19-year-old girl was dropped off at the Amstetten hospital last weekend," a spokesman for police said.
"The girl is seriously ill and is fighting for her life. A search for the mother, who had disappeared, was launched to get more details about the girl."
DNA samples of all the people involved have been taken and will be evaluated, police added.
The case is reminiscent of that of Austrian Natascha Kampusch, who spent eight year locked up in a windowless cell before dashing to freedom in August 2006.

Went out with my parents and 2nd sister, Shameera earlier this morning. :)) I hearts my family..

Evening, I met Peijie, Jiali, Shijie at AMK hub. We wanted to go to Prima Deli and reserve an early 21st birthday cake for our Ms Ang Yun leng. And we did.. Gonna celebrate her birthday on the day of her birthday itself. 1st May. Labour day. She's gonna treat us. Siti, me, Peijie, Jiali and Shijie. Whee. Its going to be a fun day again meeting my girlfriends! :))

So, I've checked my sitting arrangement for the convocation. I am sitting near people whom I am able to communicate with. Nadiah, Sufiyan, Tee Bin.. :)) Whee. And Farini is just about 4 t0 6 seats away from me..

Initially, Wednesday, I am suppose to join Muhaimin, Ayuni and Felicia for this shooting quest. I forgot what its called. But I was too tired after my last day of work on Tuesday.. So I told them, I cant make it. Too fatigue.

But I felt better in the evening. Received a call in the evening from my chicken buddy. Asked me out to Vivo. So.. I went.. We were on the quest to buy Yun Leng's 21st birthday present. Muahaha. Bought her a super big card.


The Barang-Barang... They nearly bought everything at "the body shop" @ VIVO.Sexy legs? Whose? We are threesome.. :))

Next day.
Still met Peijie.
She treated me 2 cups of pearly bandung from Mr Bean. So touching!
Still continue our quest on Yunleng's birthday gifts at John Little @ Orchard.
Met our ex supervisor while searching the present at John Little
and she said that I put on weight..
As expected..

I just saw a scene an hour ago.. neighbours quarelling. They were staying in front of my flat.. a flat across the road. Hahaha. Wowlow. Please lar ar. They were shouting and it was already late night. We should live in harmony right. I was so "kpo" that I took my binocular and kept looking for a better vision.

Anyways... Remember about the 2 video games connected to the television near my wagon which I mentioned earlier. YEA. This is a picture which I took secretly on one of the weekend. Its so noisy can.. Look at this! It look as if I am in a childcare or kindergathen. Kids took turn to play the games and ended up fighting.Kids yelling, crying.. Argh. But it was so fun to see cute little kids.

Famous Amous cookies. I ate them today. 100 grams of Butterscotch and pecan. Gosh! But they were yummy. But too sweet for me.

I love hanging around at the BORDERS during my break. After dinner, I will just enter the BORDERS, grab any reading materials and read till my dinner break is over. Wonderful! And the best thing ever, they wont "shoo" you away. They allow you to read even thou you are not purchasing that item. Its sounds more like a library.

kids nowadays can be so spoilt.. They can even answer to an adult saying that "I will slap your face"

Taken aback. thats my reaction. ok. The story goes like this.

My wagon filled with the swimming customes are so near to the kids department and I am lovin' it. I see babies and little boys and girls who either tend to be so quiet or running around. Then they will persuade their parents " Mummy/ daddy, please. I want to see the toys."

And near my station, they actually place two video games which is connected to the two television. So just now, there is this little boy who was so selfish that he just sat there playing without letting the other kids to even touch that controller. He ended quarrelling with another boy and he switched off that television. He even beat another boy whose age is around 4 years old.I was like " Wa! So brave ar. Beat a stranger" I was also looking around, where is this little boy's parents. But no where to be found.

My friend who was a promoter for another brand, just beside my wagon, got so agitated with that boy's attitude that she confronted the boy nicely and said " eh boy, u shouldnt be so selfish le"

So, what my friend did, was to confront that boy and they ended up quarreling. And that frnd of mine whom I just got to know her for two days is a lady at early 30s.

And that little boy actually answered to my friend " Hey, you do anything, i slapped ur face!"

I think my friend got so angry that she called that little boy with a name of monster.

hahahahaha.. so rude. I think he must be a spoilt kid.

I am working today at Parkway Parade. One week of working, then for me to enjoy before the launching of my official working life as a nurse on 5th May.. ;)

Yesterday evening, Visited my cousin's wife who gave birth to a baby girl at East Shore hospital. Aww. The baby is super cute and big like the daddy. But she is in ICU right now. But nothing serious, doctor said.

I think I am getting sore eyes soon!

I am too tired to blog. So here is just a summary of my dayyyy..

Okie. I had a fun day today. Watched a Malay comedy movie, "Duyung", with Liyana and Hafiizah today @ Sun Plaza this afternoon.. :)) Have always wanted to watch " The Orphanage" but the timing was err. Too late in the evening. So chose this movie instead. But no regrets..

Movie started @ 1315hrs but I reached Sun plaza @ 1145hrs.

I made my own rounds in the shopping center itself while waiting for the arrival of the two ladies.. I bought an Archie comic since I was too bored.

When I entered the Popular Cd Rama store, I totally wanna stay for a moment.. Hahaha. They were playing my favourite disney song. It was from Snow white. Gosh. I missed watching it. One of my favourite disney princesses.

" Some day my prince will come. Some day, we'll meet again. " thats a part of the lyrics from that song..

Back to the topic, When they reached, headed to the cinema and bought the tickets at student price. Soon, no more student privilages. sob sob.. :P

Yippie! our tickets were cheaper than ever. Hahaha. Making me have this urge of watching movie before ther;s no more function of the student pass that can be used. So, must cheong.

Hafiizah joined us despite of watching this movie for the third time. Thanks babe.. :))

Another girlfriend of mine, Suhailah, watched it in Johore lor.. Hehehehe. I am sure she did enjoyed.

Duyung is indeed a hilarious movie. Fun for the whole family.

Maya Karin really did acted so well as a beautiful mermaid. Oh yes. For those who dont understand Malay, when we directly translate the word Duyung to English, its actually mermaid.
Saiful Apek. The usual comedian. :P

The whole place that they acted through out the movie was truly truly beautiful esp The sea.


I guess we should watch movies together soon again. Hehehehe.

Tomorrow I shall share the pictures that we took during our zoo trip. A hottie day but we enjoyed. Lucky thing, Yati bought her cup cakes and mine was nasi lemak. We got to save some pennies since the things that are sold in the zoo were a little expensive.

so I have been MIA for the past 4 days. And only today I am blogging. Tired la.hehe.. Anyway, I had a fun day on last Friday with Liyana, Suhailah, Fini and Yati. We went cycling @ East Coast! Was so fun despite of the super duper hot weather.


We met at 11am, at Bedok to have an early lunch.
Then we took a bus to East Coast.

Had our cycling session for 2 hours. Cycled all the way to Bedok Jetty and further up.
I rented a 2 rider bicycle with Yati. After cycling session, sat by the sea. Lucky thing that Su bought a mat.
Walked by the sea side.Packed up and headed to Changi Airport terminal 1. Had dinner @ Popeye. Went to Tampines and headed home. :))
