I had no other choice but to come back on Friday to school for Nafpa test! (Long Sigh) Hahaha.. I was in Morning shift on that very particular day. So tired can!
Was fun having to meet the old peeps. And to reunite with my close buddies. :)) Ayuni, Mei Mei, Fini, Sher, Liya, Su and Yati.
Energy drained but we still managed to have our dinner at Al- Azhar. :)) Thanks guys!
So yesterday, watched a Hindi Movie with Liyana. We planned to watch it at 1800hrs show but damn.. All seats taken. And we are left with the 2000hrs show. We bought the tickets and yeah. Not much choice left. We had to get the front seats. Yes! The very front. But still not so bad. Wish Suhailah was together.
The theater was full! Can you believe it. I guess it can be one of the box office.
Magnificent props and the costumes were splendid.

It was a month ago in which I actually went to to the zoo with my dearest family. And only a few days back, we have to bid our farewell to Ah Meng.
So, my trip to the zoo was not a waste. I got to meet her up close near her enclosure. Gosh. She was already old. Truly big. Abit terrifying but she looked sweet and friendly. I never know that it was my last time seeing her. :(
I read today's straits times and for a few minutes, I was emotionally down. A private memorial service will be held today for Ah Meng. I dont know whether you guys realise that she was actually a proud mother of five children and six grandchildren. Wow. She died at the age of 48 years old and from what I read, if they actually calculated it in a human age, its actually 95! Wow!
I read again. They were saying that her youngest son, Satria, 12 years old looked very depressed. And even Chomel, her favourite granddaughter was ignoring the zoo keepers when they were actually calling her. I have seen the family of Ah Meng during my trip but not upclose as they were actually high up on the trees.
Truly an icon to the Singapore Zoological Garden. We have lost her.
We'll miss you Ah Meng: From my dad,mum and sisters. And myself :((

I was truly in the festive mood yesterday. Cant really bother much. So many of those patients wanted to be discharged on the new year's eve. So, was kinda of busy too. Ended up having two cubicles empty for the day. Wow!
So, new years eve marks the last day of my posting in the ward 11B ( I wouldnt know whether I will be back in the ward as a working adult in few months time). Passing reports yesterday was abit draggy. Like I told you guys earlier, I was in a festive mood. Although I have no specific reasons to be excited about. Except having those 4 days off! Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
2 days ago, I was working the ward as usual. Busy with accessing my patients and also finishing up those reports. I came to realise in one point of time that one of my patient was actually my secondary school teacher's mum. Who taught me history. Yes. Mr Shan's mum. Peijie. I hope you are reading this. The moment he saw me walking to the room, we looked at each other and he started to ask me what was I doing there. Good griefs. He doesnt ask me about his mum..hahahahahaha..

One of the things that I would love to do is to sit and talk with my close nursing friends. Reason being: I wanna exchange ideas and learn from them. I still felt lucky that Wan Ling and Ming Lee are in the same ward as me. With them, it do motivates me somehow. I dont know how, but it does.
Yesterday, I took 12 patients under my care.Not totally but with the help of Kak Ina and Jiang Nan. Obvioulsy I wont be giving the intravenous antibiotics and blah blah..It was fine but there are quite a number of things that I still have yet to improve and to know. A lotssss I guess.
Went home with Suhailah yesterday and met my sister after her work at Ang Mo Kio.
I cant wait.. For a holiday. Nope, I am not counting down the days. At times, when you don't countdown, time passes faster than you expected.

If ever they are gonna spread the message like " those who are not going to attend the NAPFA test, will face serious penalties from the school"... Just forget it, I wont be moved by it. Thinking that I was from TTSH then to go all the way to Clementi, was a waste of my precious time. So tired. Thanks to Ayuni. She took the effort to call me and said that the NAPFA test was cancelled.
Lucky thing. Went out to meet Shermine, Liyana,Su, Farini and Yati.
I am gonna make this post a short one.
We are left with three days in the ward then to specialised posting.
